Property Taxes                                         

The property tax bills are prepared after all grade, vocational and high school, as well as state and county levies are set in late November.  Tax bills are usually mailed in early December.  The payment schedule is printed on the bill along with other important information.  If you choose to make your tax payment in installments, the first payment is due no later than January 31 and the balance is due on July 31.  Payments on or prior to January 31 may be made in person at the Chenequa Village Hall or by mail to 31275 W. Hwy K, Hartland WI  53029.  Please note that all collections after January 31 are handled by the Waukesha County Treasurer's Office.  These payments are made payable to the Waukesha County Treasurer and may be mailed to 1320 Pewaukee Road, Waukesha WI  53188.  To access tax/assessment  information on the Waukesha County website, click below.

Assessments

The Village has contracted with Schultz Appraisal Agency for assessment services.  The values in place on January 1 each year are used for tax purposes with notices mailed to those affected by an update.  Questions regarding assessments should be directed to Leyton Schultz at 367-5999.
