The Chenequa Police Department is an active participant in the Lake Area Critical Incident Team.   This team is comprised of Officers from the Villages of Chenequa, Hartland, Pewaukee, and the Cities of Brookfield and Delafield.  Each municipality has up to four officers on the multi-jurisdictional team.  Officers train one day per month on firearms and tactical techniques.

The multi-jurisdictional Team responds to any of the above listed communities to handle incidents of high risk.  Such incidents may involve search warrants, barricaded gunmen, hostage situations, robberies, and suicidal subjects threatening harm to themselves and others as well as other situations that may involve high risk and/or deadly force possibilities.  In addition, the team has also assisted with security for dignitaries that may be in the area.
